The Spiritual Fiction Book Corner
Authors and Publishers
Convergence Magazine
Convergence, in its tenth year of publication serving Northern New England, is a magazine for
people who are aware their life is a spiritual journey. It brings inspiration five times a year with new
ideas to ponder, new ways to understand the events and challenges of your life; reminders of
perennial wisdom and new teachings.
The Hungry Soul
What is soul? What is the soul's
hunger? Is it longing for a sense of
belonging in the world, vitality
through experience (whether
painful or pleasurable), purpose
and meaning in life, or perhaps a
quiet stillness in the early morning
light? What is the common
boundary between art and
healing? The Hungry Soul, an on-line
literary magazine, seeks to
explore these questions through
poetry, story, essay, imagery,
metaphor and the creative
imagination.

Life Positive: The birth and growth of a magazine, nay, a movement
Concept: Life Positive was conceived as a magazine to cater to the growing
need in India for authentic information and guidance for holistic living as well
as personal and spiritual growth. It is a pioneer in the history of Indian
journalism: when it was launched four years ago (April 1996), Life Positive
was the first publication in what is called the New Age or body-mind-spirit
category—and remains the only one till date. The range of subjects covered in
the monthly magazine is wide: from yoga/meditation to alternative medicine;
from positive thinking to organic farming and the gaia factor. It draws on the
ancient and time-tested springs of wisdom as well as the cutting edge
information from science and psychology. All presented in a rational way to
suit the aware, educated modern man and woman. The tone is neither
skeptical nor credulous.
